# Dialpad Meetings Release Notes 23.12.01

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on **December 1, 2023.**

## Improvements

### Initiating dial-out for Meetings

If users are experiencing a network issue while in or joining a meeting, a window will pop up allowing participants to select or enter their number and [dial-out within the Dialpad Meeting](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/start-join-a-meeting#dialout-by-phone) interface.

### Screensharing with limited connection

Participants can now view a delayed screenshare (using periodic screenshots) when [screen sharing](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/share-your-screen) doesn't work due to certain firewall restrictions.![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/0f28ad44-2863-4372-a27e-c6728808d742/Images/Documentation/image-1701726410385.png)

## Critical bug fixes

### Login request bug

Some users reported getting a *login failed* error when [accessing Dialpad Meetings](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/logging-into-the-native-app-with-sso). This has been fixed!

### HD camera bug

A few users reported that they could not turn on their [camera when joining meetings](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/dialpad-meetings-control-basics#video-controls). We've fixed this.

### Meeting timer bug

Some users reported that the [Dialpad meeting timer](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/meeting-countdown-timer) was not aligned properly to the length of the meeting. This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall Dialpad Meetings experience.
