# Dialpad Meetings Release Notes 22.08.26

We're always rolling out updates that contain new features and capabilities to ensure customers get the most of Dialpad Meetings.

Let's take a look at what's new in this release for August 26th, 2022

## New

**Meeting Resiliency |** When your connection falters, Dialpad Meetings now displays a banner on your video stream suggesting you turn off your video or call into the meeting instead.

## Improvement

**Virtual Backgrounds |** When using the **'Surprise me'** setting for your [Virtual Background](/v1/docs/virtual-backgrounds), Users can now tap on the **'Surprise me'** tile to select a new random virtual background.
