# Call Waiting

Call waiting allows you to see an incoming call while on a call. An incoming call that is “waiting” displays on your desk phone in an available line key.

> Desk phones can handle two simultaneous calls: one active and one on hold.

Call waiting is available on these desk phones:

****Yealink T series models****

While on an active call, the new call populates the screen and the BLF (busy lamp field) flashes.

Press **Answer** to put your current call on hold. You are then actively connected to your new call.

Use the **Swap** button or the navigation keys to switch between the calls; One is placed on hold, the other call is active.

****Poly VVX Obi series models****

Poly phones can handle up to 2 calls simultaneously (1 on hold and 1 active).

While on an active call, the new call populates on the screen.

Press **Answer** to put your current call on hold. You are then actively connected to your new call.

Use the navigation keys to switch between calls. One is placed on hold, the other call is active.
