# Android Release Notes 25.09.30

Dialpad's [Android App](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.switchapp&hl=en_CA&gl=US) is designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

We're currently on app version **42.0**— be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***September 30, 2025.***

## Improvements

### Fresh look for your Android app

We’ve redesigned [settings on Android](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/use-the-android-app#app-settings) to make them cleaner and easier to navigate. Everything’s now organized into clear categories, so you can find what you need faster.

### Improved search on your Android app

We’ve made it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for on your [Dialpad Android app](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/use-the-android-app). When you search, you’ll instantly see results from your device in a single view. This gives you a complete picture without having to search again.

### Improved call settings and forwarding on your Android app

It’s now easier to [switch between HD Calling and carrier calling](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/switch-between-hd-and-carrier). Forwarding numbers are simpler to add, verify, and manage for a smoother calling experience.

### Improved call flow with caller ID selection

We’ve made starting a new call smoother on Android. You can now easily [choose or switch your caller ID](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/use-the-android-app#caller-id) and persona before making an outbound call.
