# Android Release Notes 24.09.17

Dialpad's [Android App](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.switchapp&hl=en_CA&gl=US) is designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

We're currently on app version **18.0******— be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***September 17, 2024.***

## Critical bug fixes

### Bluetooth audio bug

Some users reported that calls were being connected to the speaker instead of their [Bluetooth device](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/supported-audio-devices-headsets-for-your-computer#bluetooth-vs-dect-what-is-the-difference).**This has been fixed!

### Battery usage bug

A few users reported that the Dialpad Android app was [using more battery than usual](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/system-test#machine-information). We've fixed this.

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
