# Android Release Notes 24.08.26

Dialpad's [Android App](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.switchapp&hl=en_CA&gl=US) is designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

We're currently on app version **16.0.08**— be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features.

## Critical bug fix

Some users reported that the [Android app lost microphone access](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/check-your-in-app-audio-settings#hardware-settings) whenever the screen turned off or the phone locked.**This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
