# Android Release Notes 24.08.13

Dialpad's [Android App](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.switchapp&hl=en_CA&gl=US) is designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

We're currently on app version **16.0******— be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***August 13, 2024.***

## Improvements

### Sending a message with multiple attachments

We’ve improved how messages are sent [when multiple media files are attached](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/send-a-message#send-an-image-or-video-chat-mms). Now, the message will be linked to the last file sent, similar to how it appears in the Dialpad web app.

### Do Not Disturb settings

We have removed the DND permission from the Android setting and unified it with the [Android app's DND custom status](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/use-the-android-app#do-not-disturb-custom-status). This improvement makes it easier for users to manage their Dialpad notifications.

## Critical bug fix

### Emoji bug

Some users reported that when [sending a message containing only an emoji](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/messaging-features#send-gifs-and-stickers), it appeared smaller than normal.**This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
