# Android Release Notes 24.06.11

We're currently on app version **12.0.0.6**— be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***June 11, 2024***

## New

### Presence icon on conversation view

****You can now see a user's current status in the top bar of your 1-on-1 chat. [Presence icons](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/dialpad-app-presence-icons#presence-icon) make it easy to know when someone is available, busy, or away.

## Improvement

### Improved error message when an SMS failed

### ****

When there is no active network connection, users will now see an **Undelivered - Network connection problem. Retry.** notification below the unsent message prompting them to retry once the connection is restored.

## Critical bug fixes

### Retry sending button bug

Some users reported that the app created a duplicate message after [retrying to send](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/send-a-message#sms-delivery-receipt) the message.**This has been fixed.

### Active call control bug

A few users reported that the [active call screen and call controls](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/active-call-controls) were unresponsive when they experienced network connection issues and reconnected.**We've fixed this.

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
