We're always rolling out updates that contain new features and capabilities to ensure customers get the most of Dialpad.

Update your [Android app](/v1/docs/use-the-android-app) to take advantage of the latest additions. You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability. Dialpad's iOS app is made to live at the center of your business communications while on-the-go.

Let's take a look at what's new in this Android app release for Feb 24th, 2023

## New

- **Character Count |** We've added a character count to your SMS messages so you can clearly view their size.

- **Android Version Support |** Dialpad is no longer supporting Android Oreo.
