Agent Time Off Request

Need some time away from work? You can submit a time off request directly in Dialpad WFM for your manager or scheduler to review.

Once your request is reviewed, you'll receive an email letting you know whether it was approved or declined.

Who can use this

Agent time off requests are available for Dialpad WFM agents.

Time off types

Depending on your organization's configuration, you may be able to request different types of time off, including:

  • Vacation

  • Sick

  • Time Off

  • Leave of Absence

  • Parental Leave

  • FMLA

  • Public Holiday

Submit a time off request

You can request either a full day or a partial day off. To submit a request, go to Dialpad WFM.

  1. Select Schedule > Request time off

  1. Select the type of time off

  2. Choose the date or date range

Note

If needed, specify the hours for a partial-day request.

  1. Select Send request

Your time off request is sent to your manager for review and approval.

Tip

A clock icon indicates that your time off request is still pending.

You’re still responsible for your shift until your manager approves the request.

Frequently asked questions

How will I know if my request is approved?

You'll receive an email after your request has been reviewed and either approved or declined.

Can I request part of a day off?

Yes. You can request either a full day or a specific time range for partial-day time off.

Does Dialpad WFM track my remaining vacation or leave balance?

No. Dialpad WFM doesn't track leave balances or accruals. It only manages the time off request and approval workflow.

Can I request different types of time off?

Yes. Your organization can make different time off types available, such as Vacation, Sick, Time Off, Leave of Absence, Parental Leave, FMLA, and Public Holiday.
